How to Change your Location Using the Esnatech UC Client

Please follow the steps based on your UC Client access.

Changing Your Location from the Mobile Client (Google Android)

Requires an Esnatech UC Mobility Client installed on your smartphone

  1. Open the UC Client app and go to the main screen
  2. The location management icon shows your current location – its appearance changes based on your current location or extension

  1. To change your location, availability or extension, touch the location management icon to display the location management screen

  1. Choose the desired settings by touching the appropriate icon
  2. Your location, status and extension will change accordingly

Changing Your Location from Windows UC Client Call Manager

Requires an Esnatech UC Client license and an installed UC Call Manager

  1. Login to your UC Call Manager

  2. Your current active location, extension and status are displayed at the top of the screen
  3. Click on the down arrow to change your status

Changing Your Location from Google UC Desktop Gadget

Requires an Esnatech UC Client license and an installed Esnatech UC Google Gadget.

  1. Login to your UC Call Manager using the Google Gadget

  2. Your current active location, extension and status are displayed in the gadget
  3. Click on your location, availability or extension to change
  4. Click SAVE to set your new location

Changing Your Location by Dialing into your Esnatech Automated Attendant

Requires an Esnatech UC Client license

  1. From any phone dial the access number to reach your automated attendant greeting (typically, from an internal extension you would dial your mailbox access code or press your message key and from an external number dial the main number and dial the access code to access your mailbox)
  2. Access the main menu
  3. Press 5 to change your location
  4. The system will read the following menu options – press the appropriate digit at any time:

  5. Wait for confirmation then hang up
